The Outwell Backroads Awning Room is a convenient and flexible way to expand your campervan’s living area. Designed to attach directly to your van’s awning, which serves as its roof, this awning room is fast to set up and take down, providing a sheltered, private space in minutes. Large tinted windows on both sides allow for natural light and a clear view, while maintaining privacy inside. Specifically tailored for camper models like the VW T5/T6/T6.1 (Multivan, Caravelle, Transporter, California), MB W639/W447 (V-Class, Vito, Marco Polo), and similar vehicles, it’s an ideal solution for additional living or storage space on your travels.

your tent if you expose it to direct sunlight for
longer periods of time. Outtex® fabric used on
Outwell® tents increases the lifetime of the tent.
Outwell Product are made for camping use which
is normally 2-5 weeks usage a year. They are not
designed for permanent usage and should only be
used as camping products.
Camping near the sea or lake can further enhance
the effect of UV radiation. The same applies to
