New fabric technologies
Denier upgrade
For added strength
Selected tent and vehicle awning ranges move from 75D to 150D flysheet fabrics to support:'

Solution-dyed
Lasting colour and lower impact
In solution-dyed fabrics, colour is added at an earlier stage of the yarn-making process. This helps improve fade resistance, so the flysheet keeps its colour for longer. It also supports a lower environmental impact compared with conventional dyeing methods.
By adding pigment to the molten raw material during fibre production,
the coloured yarn is created with multiple benefits:
- +80% water savings – less water used during production*
- 14% energy savings – reduced energy use per m² of flysheet**
- Longer-lasting colour – improved resistance to fading
- Cleaner wastewater – water is not coloured as in traditional dyeing
